Not one democrat supported the 15th amendment prohibiting vote discrimination or in other terms, allowing blacks to vote.

Interesting right, afterall, the democrats fought to keep slavery, and they voted against civil rights in large numbers. Yet the democrats would have you believe Republicans are, cough, Democrats.

Democrats control Virginia Maryland , Atlanta , NOLA , Houston …
Ga, La, and Ms, all are controlled by the New Republicans. Maryland was not a Rebel state. Virginia has a Neo-Republican Governor.

Northern Occupation Army? It was smack dab in the middle of Reconstruction. All those states ratified it. The White Democrats and former slaveholding elite didn't regain power until the Occupation ended, after 1877.
