Because democrats are accustomed to having republicans not fight back, and they get to in that case craft the narrative. Think about it, Americans are desensitized from seeing chaos from dems, downtowns burning, and elder citizens being assaulted for the cause of democratic socialism, but republicans doing something similar even if for a couple hours, is shocking.
Tearing the system down is inherently a liberal thing, so now that corruption, fraud, waste, and embezzlement are rampant throughout government and Trump, a born again republican vow to fix it, makes people like you uncomfortable, because you’ve known nothing different.
