As Republicans here continue repeating a narrative not based in reality, the truth is that more people are leaning Democrat. That's what the same Gallup Poll Repubicans here have used to me claims about the death of the Democratic Party says.

Democrats Regain Advantage in Party Affiliation

Shift occurs even as Democratic Party favorability falls to record low

Americans’ party affiliation has flipped back toward the Democratic Party after the Republican Party held advantages for most of 2023 and 2024. However, these changes in party preference are occurring at a time when the Democratic Party’s image is at an all-time low and slightly worse than that of the Republican Party. Further, Americans are no more likely to believe Democrats are better than Republicans at managing the federal government or bringing about changes the country needs.

Shifts in party affiliation away from the ruling party have occurred in the first year of most recent presidential administrations. The current movement in party preferences is primarily driven by a greater share of political independents saying they lean toward the Democratic Party.

Party Preferences Shift in Second Quarter

In the second quarter of 2025, an average of 46% of U.S. adults identified as Democrats or said they are independents who lean toward the Democratic Party, while 43% identified as Republicans or said they lean Republican.

That three-percentage-point Democratic advantage compares with a tie between the two parties in the first quarter of 2025, after a four-point Republican lead in the fourth quarter of 2024. Until now, the Republican Party had led or tied in most quarters since 2023.

It might be the younger Dems who are being influenced by the Israel/Hamas war. It's been a drag on Trumps first tern, as has the Epstein issue and to a lesser extent, the.Ukraine/Russia.war. Trunp being unfairly impacted by issues largely out of his control. Biden faced the same with his withdrawal out of Afghanistan, perhaps the victim of poor military leadership decisions which WAS responsible for.

No intelligent person believes that.

Trump is not being impacted by anything ut f his control. Trump made the agreement with the Taliban to leave Afghanistan and stuck Biden with the withdrawal. The reality here is that trump won by 1.5 percent and Republicans barely have a majority in the House. These idiots here have repeated a bunch of lies as if Republicans are a huge majority nd Trump won the election in a bigger landslide than Reagan. Any AMERICAN paying attention could have told you this was how things are going, but you love Trump so you won't listen.

And still more people are leaning Democrat right now. People are mad at Democrats because they don't feel like Democrats are fighting hard enough against what Republicans are doing. You think it's because people like what's going on. You are in for a lesson.

You hurt yourself.with. "You love.Trump" comments. I suppprt every U.S president. Would you prefer I just post on here how great Harris would be if only.Americans had voted.for her to win office? The 1.5% is the popular vote, Trump won by a landslide when measuring national results by counties. It wasn't even close.

hahahaha…yeah, core Americans want more illegals, they want more trannies competing with their daughters in athletics, they want 10 hour waits behind illegals in emergency rooms, they want to wait three months for doctors appointments behind illegals..they want high interest rates, high rents, 19% inflation and $6 fuel….Hell yeah…they want that.
