So, if you are a billionaire, you have to pay taxes on unrealized gains. I could be down with that, but not taxed as long term capital gains. WTF--market to market valuations, yearly, are you flipping kidding me. And yes, carryback and carryforward provisions, which only makes matters worse. Collect billion in taxes from billionaires on unrealized capital gains, market tanks, you got to pay flippin refunds. I mean I am thinking between 2.5% and 5%, Zakat.

And as far as taxes go, Democrats are full of shit to say they're only going to tax the rich. Letting Trump's tax cuts expire will be a massive tax increase on the middle class. Personally, my mind thinks I'm rich, but economics says otherwise. Repealing Trump's tax cuts will cost me around $2500 in additional taxes every year. And that's not even counting the unconstitutional taxes on unrealized appreciation of assets. That's just oppressive. Why would any American, beside a Democrat politician, be for that insanity? Make America Great Again.

If Trump does lose, I think that a percentage of Republicans might as well question, why we vote Republican. It seems they have disappointed us much more than make us happy over the decades. They even help the Progs pass legislation that is not very Republican. The real issue of arguing over the House Speaker in 2023 was trying to bust up the cuddling of Republicans to Democratic legislation that is far to the left.
