The GOP better keep the House, otherwise the Democrats will jam through the massive tax plan in 2025. Of course they use the same cover story that it will ONLY be taxes on the "very wealthy" and "corporations". If you are dumb enough to believe that, you deserve to lose a few more thousand in income to the Feds.

How come there is no one on either side of the aisle who ever say "we need to cut spending"?

This is the destruction of the Western hemisphere, spending and becoming bloated like the old Soviet system. The end result doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict.

So, if you are a billionaire, you have to pay taxes on unrealized gains. I could be down with that, but not taxed as long term capital gains. WTF--market to market valuations, yearly, are you flipping kidding me. And yes, carryback and carryforward provisions, which only makes matters worse. Collect billion in taxes from billionaires on unrealized capital gains, market tanks, you got to pay flippin refunds. I mean I am thinking between 2.5% and 5%, Zakat.

And at the end of the day the Republicans tax and the Democrats tax, but the rich will spend a whole load of money telling you why THEY should not be taxed.

Will there BE any Democrats once Trump is in office again?

I sure hope not.
I can't think of many Democrats I'd miss. I'd say get a new batch of them but the younger ones seem to be more Marxist-woke. And as far as taxes go, Democrats are full of shit to say they're only going to tax the rich. Letting Trump's tax cuts expire will be a massive tax increase on the middle class. Personally, my mind thinks I'm rich, but economics says otherwise. Repealing Trump's tax cuts will cost me around $2500 in additional taxes every year. And that's not even counting the unconstitutional taxes on unrealized appreciation of assets. That's just oppressive. Why would any American, beside a Democrat politician, be for that insanity? Make America Great Again.

God is the one who is kicking them out of the White House in 2024 and they just cannot accept it. The White House will be cleared and swept of all of them.

This is God battle and war with the sin-loving democrats.

Corporations don't really pay taxes.....They are just passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices or the workers in the form of layoffs.

The leftist dem Borg don't care.....Resistance is futile is their mantra.

They will when the government can't borrow more. It can default on current debt and/or try to hyperinflate out of debt. We will probably have a messy mix of both.

So you're going to be penalized for property ownership?

They can always use the “tax the rich “ lie because dem voters are emotionally stunted lemmings.

If Trump does lose, I think that a percentage of Republicans might as well question, why we vote Republican. It seems they have disappointed us much more than make us happy over the decades. They even help the Progs pass legislation that is not very Republican. The real issue of arguing over the House Speaker in 2023 was trying to bust up the cuddling of Republicans to Democratic legislation that is far to the left. Ans like clockwork, a percentage shows up to get Prog legislation passed. And they even are different members for various agendas.
