Most conservatives are "classic" liberals in the sense we favor a political or social philosophy advocating the freedom of the individual, parliamentary systems of government, nonviolent modification of political, social, or economic institutions to assure unrestricted development in all spheres of human endeavor, and governmental guarantees of individual rights and civil liberties. Paradoxically, conservatives are true liberals!

The modern day "liberals" are mere socialists or communists for the most part.

After the passage of Civil Rights, LBJ stated, "These uppity negroes have something they have never had before - power behind their movement. We have to give them something, but not enough to make a difference...I will have these ni@@ers voting 'Democrat' for the next 200 years!"

With friends like this, who needs enemies?! And with Liberals re-writing and teaching this BS in schools, LBJ will be proven right. It's already been 60 years, the status of blacks pretty much worse and at least no better, and he has been proven right so far.
