Democrats: Losing the midterms cannot mean the end of democracy. Are you listening to yourselves?

How could losing an election mean the end of democracy?

I know that your president and your media are telling you that, but how does it make sense?
It is not the losing of an election. It is what will happen if the Republicans take the House and keep the Senate . They are already making plans. Very serious plans which affect millions of people. That is what matters. What those changes mean to both Republicans, Democrats, Independents, etc. And not for their good or well being.

So, if I'm reading that right, if the Republicans take the House and the Senate (they don't have it to keep as of now), they will have policies that will be different from those of the Democrats and Democrats do not think those changes will be good for millions of people?

Ok, so no end to Democracy?

When the democrats talk about the end of democracy, they are outright lying and they know it. It's all political scare talk, trying to make voters afraid to vote for the GOP and I don't think there are many undecided people who will vote for democrats because of this nonsense. In fact, it is the essence of democracy that anyone can deny any election results when so many complaints and objections surface that indicate fraud. In this country we can do that and not be jailed or suicided for it.

Even if the GOP does take both chambers of Congress, there is still a democrat in the White House that can veto any legislation they pass. So, the idea that democracy is threatened is bullshit.

Sure, if cutting or slowly making Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid disappear is good for all people from all parties is good for millions.......

Raising prescription plan costs. That is good for millions. (the Millions companies will make)

Increasing health insurance (Also good for companies to make millions out of )

Increasing energy bills (also good for the millions companies will make)

Increasing student loan payments

Well, if Republicans do win the House, we shall definitely learn how else they mean to help the middle class and poor of America.

I see with my little eye somebody who has accepted all the promotional literature completely uncritically.

All of these has come out of Republican mouths.
It is all Republican promotional literature designed to have Republicans vote for them.

Deal with them.

Desperate times call for desperate rhetoric.

And no one is more desperate than Biden and the Democrats.

Isn't it wonderful?
Republicans in 2022 midterm races are embracing more anti-transgender rhetoric than in any year that LGBTQ+ experts can remember. The rhetoric is frequently tied to “parental rights,” which is invoked by proponents of bills to remove information about LGBTQ+ people from schools and libraries or keep trans youth out of sports. In ads and on the stump, candidates are sharing incorrect, inflammatory statements that are often used as a basis to restrict gender-affirming care.

Outside groups, notably the America First Legal Foundation and the American Principles Project super PAC, are adding more fuel to the fire. A recent ad from the American Principles Project, described by President Terry Schilling as the group’s “closing ad in the 2022 election,” uses photos of early surgery scars from transgender people, whose faces are blurred, and accuses the Biden administration and Democrats of “pushing transgender drugs and surgeries on kids” due to their support of the Equality Act.

“It’s on another level from prior years,” said David Stacy, government affairs director for the LGBTQ+ rights organization Human Rights Campaign (HRC). The rhetoric is harsher, and more mainstream Republicans, notably gubernatorial candidates, are willing to use it on the stump, he said.

Funny thing. None of that is planned, but even if it were, that would not be the end of democracy.

But then, no one actually wants a democracy. They want a Constitutional Republic.

Republicans are not shy to say it. So, don't be shy yourself.

Your second sentence is nothing but nonsense .

It's not like democrat policies have been good for the people.

Fine, but you do understand that none of that is "the end of democracy," right?

If the GOP can cut Social Security (they won't, but let's pretend) this congressional session, and the people vote them out in anger for the next congressional session, the Democrats can double or triple social security.

You shouldn't start with lies in the first sentences.

Parents want to remove sexually explicit material from the school library, and restrict talk about sexuality to upper grades.

Quote some of these statements that are incorrect and inflammatory. Ask your LGBTQ+ experts who said what.
