It's too early for me to start deciding which side to vote for, but it's not a stretch to say the left wing is in disarray.

Donald Trump's central theme of vilifying all immigrants (legal or no) has gained support from a surprisingly large block of voters, leaving Democrats fumbling for something of their own they can rally around. In addition, Trump's push to get our European allies to take more financial responsibility for their own national defense is something I whole heartedly agree with and have been advocating for years.

Democrats - Donald Trump and the GOP are not very popular, but if you folks on the left can't get your act together, with a decent messenger you can rally around, and a platform voters can get behind, you're going to get steamrolled again - and I'll help the GOP do it to you!

Democrats would probably do a lot better today if they went back to Clinton's populism of 1996. Granted, if they did that, their platform would be remarkably similar to Trump's 2016 platform.

For all the hype and propaganda....

Trump is, at best, a mid president doing a mediocre job. Not a horrible president, not a great president....just an average one.

However, in comparison to Socialist Democratic candidates he seems wonderful.

And it's not that Republicans are all that great....it's just that Democrats have lost ground and become poor ideologues.

In order for Democrats to become relevant again they must move to the right ideologically.

No more "Transgender Child Story Time" in libraries or pushing a sexually perverse message to children. Or of state run grocery stores for that matter.
Even DEI promotion must end. The whole DEI program was a complete failure. A "DEI hire" in the workforce has been a joke.
Nobody wants these people in critical roles.
When it comes to economic policy, Democrats are losers again. They have had runaway deficit spending causing economic collapse. Backing endless wars we can't get out of. On top of this they initiated wars at home by defunding the police while opening the borders to EVERY CRIMINAL wanting to enter our target rich environment for thieves, murderers and rapists. Child prostitution rings are the norm.

To cap the whole agenda, they flat out lied constantly to the American people.

Disregarding human rights of its own citizens while granting extra rights and privileges to criminal illegal immigrants.
Judges ignore the scope of their Judicial purview and went way beyond. We have traffic court judges issuing Presidential mandates. Really? Meanwhile murderers and rapists go free. While misdemeanor violations are punished severely.

None of this is a winning solution politically. We, the people, know what urban decay looks like and want no part of it.
And that is precisely what Democrats have been promoting.

Something to think about -- Florida has one of, if not THE, highest sel-employed rates in the Country.

Of Florida's 10,000,000 (Ten Million) workers, 1,300,000 (one million three hundred thousand) are self-employed.

And those are just the ones we know about. I can tell you from personal experience, there is a huge number of people earning good money in the construction business, among many others, who don't even bother to report their income.

Tips seldom get reported fully. When my boy was Bartending at the Ritz-Carlton, he'd come home with THOUSANDS in Tips sometimes. Not reported. Cash. And while very few people drag down that kind of money in the Hospitality Industry, I know many people that make well above the National average.

So Florida's Tax Free Date is more than just a little skewed. We don't even have an Income Tax fer chrissake!

We have the best Schools in the Country -- Not just this year, almost every year, our Property Taxes are reasonable, unlike Texas (who also has no Income Tax) and our State Treasury, despite getting way-laid by Hurricanes every other year, is one of the most stable in the Country.

Today Tennessee is one of the most financially affluent states with best highways and unemployment rates other states wish they had. Most people are over-employed in the state. Meaning they really don't have the requisite skills needed for the jobs they hold because unemployment has been too low for too long. (Literally no one else to hire for the position)

However, because of growing pains, housing is unaffordable in the cities and surrounding counties.
Williamson County is the wealthiest County in the USA. And rivals Wilson County for the top school system in the state. (Private education is a luxury and unneeded in those counties)
However these two counties surround Davidson County (Nashville) which is a Democrat County and has failing schools, rampant crime, and urban decay.

However, these two counties only appear to have similar crime rates....because they have sufficient police to prosecute EVERY crime. They really are idealic sanctuaries with PTA and neighborhood clubs. Soccer and HOT Yoga moms driving SUVs are the norm.
