The human errors that exacerbated and greatly increased the death toll in the Maui fires are acknowledged by the Hawaii Democrat officials. Failure to activate the warning system resulted in the resignation of the guy responsible for that. Failure to supply water to slow or douse the fire by many hours was another factor. Failure of the power company to deal with fire causing sparks etc. was glaringly apparent. Failure of the government to send immediate rescue teams to get the people out was glaringly apparent. It was the U.S. Coast Guard and not Hawaiian efforts that pulled people out of the ocean where they had sought to escape the fires.

But what is most of the talk about? Climate change as if periods of drought in ALL parts of the world don't happen, have always happened, and always increase the possibility and effects of wildfires. And the implication is that if there was no climate change, the human error would not have mattered much.

The leftist group think would be laughable if the consequences were not so tragic.

Yep........democrat party beliefs in racial silliness effected how they treated the water supply, and their belief in the cult of man made global warming kept them from doing anything to mitigate the dry foliage that started burning...

In fact, a 2022 study reveals that tropical cyclones in general, which include hurricanes, typhoons and tropical storms, are letting up as the globe warms. Over the period from 1900 to 2012, the study authors found that the annual number of tropical cyclones declined by about 13% compared with the period between 1850 and 1900, when such powerful storms were actually on the rise.

The governor just changed zoning laws via Executive order a month ago. LaHaina could not be built on and rezoned unless there was a natural emergency.

With the democrat party priority of equity in water use, rather than prioritizing fire protection, and their spending money on green initiatives instead of maintaining a safe environment around power wires......will the Hawaiians decide to change control of their island state?

With joe biden comparing a kitchen fire to the vast destruction and death caused by the incompetence of the democrat party.....and he fell asleep in the middle of the memorial......will they change parties?
