This is R-Al Franken celebrating the last defeat of the GOP's attempt to replace a disastrous
socialist agenda minority supported piece of legislation rammed into law against the will of the
majority of Americans, a law that has left millions of Americans without health care coverage, a law / plan that is collapsing, a law that was DESIGNED from the start to collapse. THIS is the Democratic Party's reaction to fighting off any attempt to have the POS ACA law replaced.

As Franken perfectly demonstrates in the above photo, this is not about fixing the fixing the health care albatross Barak Obama and his Democrats hung around the necks of the American people, not about repairing the damage they caused, and certainly not about doing the right thing and making the lives of the American people better. It is some sick political game being played by those who see themselves as our rulers, while we watch from below, beneath the glass ceiling the politicians put in place to separate them from us.

In the middle of his little 'victory' dance after a 'POLITICAL WIN' that left millions without health care due to insurers companies leaving the exchanges, someone should have dragged into the parking lot and whipped his fat ass while explaining the effects of their bitter Obstructionist butt-hurt feud on the American people.

Then again, the leaders of the Republican Party should have been dragged out into the parking lot to have their asses kicked for the piss-poor effort to get their message out. It's not that the GOP tries to keep things quiet / secretive - it's that it seems NONE of them are smart enough to know about / use media coverage / publicity (not that the 98% All-In Liberal media would allow them to do so. *Learn to 'Tweet', booys and girls. :p ).

RNC: When Democrats celebrate the failure of ObamaCare repeal they celebrate Americans' suffering - Hot Air

"The most effective messaging on repeal I’ve seen over the past three months didn’t come from Trump. How could it have? Trump could scarcely explain what was in the various Republican bills apart from saying they were “terrific.” It was this piece by Mary Katharine Ham relaying her own horror story in trying to find a plan that didn’t disintegrate within a year of enrollment. She’s spent more or less every day since it was published on Twitter trying to convince liberal trolls that this actually happens to Americans under their system. It’s not right-wing propaganda. “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan” really was an egregious lie feebly told by Obama to try to obscure the fact that his pet boondoggle has winners and losers, very much by design. Yet she routinely encounters Democratic skeptics who can’t quite believe that ObamaCare doesn’t work for everyone, even though the whole point of the law was to shift wealth from the young and healthy to the old and sick.

Most people who aren’t in the individual market, which is the one most affected by ACA, have no idea what the plans look like. It is a market where the costs of the bill’s mandates are more visible, even when subsidized. When I cite exorbitant deductibles, folks tell me to suck it up and pay $3,000. I laugh at a $3,000 deductible. What in the old system was considered a very high deductible is now among the lower available, and premiums for any kind of deductible are high, even with subsidies. Many families have to hit $12,700, and they’re paying a mortgage-sized premium. For many, the purchase becomes hard to justify or supplants an actual mortgage or similar outlays…

My family may be the trade-off that was worth it for you to implement ACA. And I’m actually fine with you thinking that, as long as you don’t pretend we and the rest of the people like us don’t exist. We’re probably never going to stop arguing about this, but arguing responsibly and empathetically is better."

I dare D-Al Franken to jump up and squeal, dance IN FRONT OF Americans like Mary Katherine Ham, as the Democrats celebrate holding hostage Americans like Ham who are suffering under Obamacare.

This isn't a game, 'Stewart Smalley'. This isn't a SNL sketch. You are f*ing with Americans lives. Every politician needs to know this and get off their collective asses to get something done to fix what THEY screwed up.

No it's not a game. It's certainly not a game to the 20 million or more people who would have lost access to health care with any of the Republican proposals. Franken is celebrating these people who get to keep their health care for now.

Certainly the spontaneous applause for Senator Susan Collins as she walked through the Boston airport on her way home over the weekend should tell you that Americans across the nation are celebrating with Senator Franken.

Maybe now they'll start working on making amendments to improve the ACA, with Democrats, instead of trying to take access to health care away from the poor and the sick.

The government has no business selling health care.

It cant be fixed... only answer is let everyone that wants to opt out of it, opt out of it....

You fail to acknowledge that almost EVERY American lost their health care coverage as a result of the ACA.

As opposed to Obama's LIE, Americans LOST their health care coverage and many lost their doctor as the Democrats destroyed the previously existing health care system. They were forced to buy health insurance plans, the minimum contents of which were dictated by the government.

The BS story about people clapping as Collins walked through an airport, yes some people do have health care coverage they can afford and like, but as Mary Katherine Ham pointed out, that does not represent reality - there are Americans who can't afford the higher premiums they were promised would not come, and it does not represent the Americans who do not have insurance because all the insurers have left the exchanges.

'Franken is celebrating those Americans who get to keep THEIR health care now'.
- You mean, 'The health care they were forced to buy / could afford', as - again - Almost all Americans lost 'THEIR' health care when they found out they really could NOT keep the plans they liked.

Obunglescare broke the backs of many hard working Americans. Now many have plans with outlandish premiums and deductables so high it's basically worthless...but hey the never do wells got theirs.

The Big Govt 'riding in to save the day by taking over' is BS.

Covering pre-existing conditions, free-market competition, the ability to cross-state-lines for health insurance, allowing Americans to group together ('plumbers of America', for example) to get better deals, and not allowing 'price gauging' was pretty much all that was needed, not Barry destroying the entire previous health care industry.

It goes without saying Dems celebrate anything that brings America down a notch. If Hillary had been elected they would had been dancing in the streets.

That being said, the GOP traitors are the ones that fucked over America in not repealing the ACA. Unless they get their shit together and pass it, they will feel the wraith of the electorate come the next election.

I liked my plan, I couldn't keep my plan.

The ACA is simply the latest power grab designed to make us all government supplied lemmings, and people like you willfully walk over the cliff because in the end you don't like thinking and working for yourself, and would rather trade freedom for a false sense of security.
