Hell no. I guess there must be a lot of knocked-up teens in Virginia these days. Odd, as growing up, I never saw a single pregnant teen while in school and I went to both public and private schools. If my daughter got pregnant and kept it from me then had an abortion behind my back at her school, I think I'd probably have to sue the school, beat the principle to within an inch of his life, then throw my daughter out and tell her to go sign up at a reform school.

But then, I don't think my daughter would get herself knocked up much less not trust me with the truth.

I heard a story once where a girl in school was given the abortion pill, only to bleed to death later with her father knowing nothing about it.

Man, that really sucks. Doesn't do anything to improve my opinion of the justice system. I'd sure like to know the legal basis for the father not having any case.

I'll say it again, I inherited my father's disposition, and had that been me, I would be afraid I would have had to find out who gave her the pill behind my back and deal with him/her directly.

I'm a big believer in the theory that the justice system is flawed because it does not involve the /VICTIM/ in the legal settlement! When a victim is wronged, the court should require the satisfaction/involvement of the victim in settling the case. Within reason of course. A great many legal disputes are settled according to "law" with absolutely no regard for the victim, and many victims walk out of court, even if they "won," shocked at the meager punishment meted out, not to mention financially devastated just trying to seek justice, so are double victimized, first by the original crime, then again at the huge financial cost of getting justice sought, then triply victimized again when they walk away feeling very unhappy with the resolution.

I have to figure that the rationale went something like this:

1. The school nurse is a registered medical professional, so it was within her rights to dispense medicine.
2. The father's hands were tied because the girl initiated the request and consented to taking the pill.

Still, the girl was a minor, which is why it surprises me that there was no legal consequence for handing out drugs like that to a child without parental consent.

Your own article says that Asian-Americans earn more than whites raised at the same income but don't suggest that racism is the reason. Why do you think that is? Are Asians discriminating against whites in America? That would be odd since many Left Wing loon colleges discriminate against Asians with high test scores that should admitted to their university.

I have yet to have a lesson that teaches gender roles or nuclear family importance ever come up in Sunday School. For 3rd and 4th graders it is:

1. The Bible was inspired by God and who the authors kind of were
2. Who is Jesus, what did he do, and what is the Trinity
3. Important Bible passages that gerneally speak to how to behave or the belief system
4. Important religious concepts: Stuff like Spiritual gifts etc

Not once have any lessons involved how to kick a tranny if you get the chance or how stupid the poor are coming from broken families, in fact, id argue the lesson teach the opposite. Love your neighbor.
