So you cut and pasted some supposed information which you were so proud of the source that you could not bring your self to mention. You also seemed to miss the mention that democrats were indeed the party which favored slavery and even opposed reform.
Yes they did shift from being against slavery, they have shifted to being the party of championing the normalization of what a lot of people consider people that mental help.
While I have no love of either cult the republican cult is not as crazy as yours. As you so eloquently showed in your first post when you basically wrote but but Trump.
I used a screenshot to capture your screen shot. D'Souza factually debunked the claim the Republicans up and decided to be Democrats. We never did that ever.

When I'm trying to talk about conservatives and liberals.
It was the Southern Confederates that supported slavery.
I would classify those people as conservative, not liberal.

See those are vague words. Democrats and Republicans are specific.
What is a conservative. Depends on who is asking. Same with Liberal. To me Republicans are actually the Liberals because we are all for freedom and an orderly well run Government. And we put less stake in Government than the people.
Slave owners were similar to todays horse or dog owners. They used them to do work.
What was George Washington and Thomas Jefferson as you define both of them?
If Lincoln was so Liberal, why did he invade VA. And Sumter is not a valid excuse.
