As a moderate Democrat (though I voted for Bob Dole, and H.W. Bush) I was mildly dismayed at how Democrats spent so much time outraged at Trump and the GOP and so little time communicating their solutions to the issues we face. i.e.

1. Women whined and wailed at Trump's sexism and bigotry, yet tens of millions of women voted for him.

2. Latino Americans grumbled at Trump's border policy's, calling it racist and extreme, yet many of these same people voted for him.

3. African Americans grumbled at Trump him racist and extreme, yet many of these same people (especially males) voted for him.

Democrats - This was a winnable election. The economy is in decent shape, and contrary to GOP lies, we don't have "open borders" but you're not going to start winning again if all you have to offer the voters is "outrage" :dunno:

You must be retired with a good income.

Most working class families lost disposable income under Biden/Harris. People always vote their pocketbook...

Americans need an extra $11,400 today just to afford the basics

A second Biden/Harris term would have been a financial disaster for most working class families.

CBS interviewed a lifelong democrat diner owner in PA who voted Trump. She said families were complaining about spending $100 for breakfast, the CBS reporter responded but inflation is down….

The economic illiteracy and lack of awareness is what tanked Harris and the democrats

When you only listened to the Lame Stream Media, of course all you would hear was the negative views about President Trump, and all the great things about the colored vagina who got zero votes in the Democrat Nomination process of 2024. Yet now you are understanding that you have been lied to constantly, will you vote for the liars again, or enlighten yourself to come to Make America Great Again?

I remember when dems were more or less sane and aside from single issues (like guns) and you could be sorta comfortable they would run things on a more or less even keel.

I certainly did not see them as enemies of the Republic like I do today. Trump did not lead me to think like that, the dems did by their actions. Trump was just a reaction to it.

For better or worse, this was election about rage.

I thought it was about "Joy"?

Not much joy in Mudville now, is there? :laughing0301:

What problem do you want solved? Now that Putin has a seat in the Whitehouse, things will surely get better for you.
This is the lie that makes the least sense. Putin is a Communist. A leftist. More in line with Democrats. The opposite of Trump.

The movie "Don't Look Up" is an example of what the Democrats have become. Although they may otherwise. For they are not the party of the unprivileged in the lower middle class anymore. Just privileged groups within it. And they play group versus group within that class.

You forgot fetal murder. That's the number one priority for the Democrats.

Why then was he so happy that Trump won?
