Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin earlier this year said Congress will stop Trump on January 6, 2025 and create “civil war conditions.”
The February 2024 video of Raskin was making the rounds on Monday.
Raskin said Congress will use the insurrection clause to stop Trump from taking office even if he wins the 2024 election.
“What can be put into the Constitution can slip away from you very quickly and the greatest example going on right before our very eyes is section three of the 14th Amendment which they’re just disappearing with a magic wand as if it doesn’t exist even though it could not be clearer what it’s stating,” Raskin said earlier this year at author Rick Hasen’s book talk and reading at Politics and Prose book store in Washington, D.C.
Raskin then said Congress will stop Trump on January 6, 2025 and issued a thinly veiled threat to US Supreme Court Justices.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi picked Rep. Jamie Raskin, a supposed “constitutional law” expert in the same way that an arsonist is an expert on house fires, as a ‘manager’ for impeaching President Trump over J6.
Since then, Rep. Raskin has been prepping a bill that would abuse the 14th Amendment to block Trump.

Raskin, a former member of the Jan. 6 select committee, said he is already crafting the bill, telling Axios, “I’m working on it — today.” ​

Raskin pointed to legislation he introduced with Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) in 2022 creating a pathway for the Justice Department to sue to keep candidates off the ballot under the 14th Amendment.​

“We are going to revise it in light of the Supreme Court’s decision,” Raskin said. ​

Raskin suggested the bill would be paired with a resolution declaring Jan. 6 an “insurrection” and that those involved “engaged in insurrection.” ​

Is Raskin inciting "Civil War" if Trump is elected by the "People"?
In some aspects, Raskin is even more detestable than Adam Schiff (and at one time I would have thought it would be impossible to type those words).
Suggesting atempt to start a civil war should Trump win is treasonous on its face. Preventing Congress from certifying the election is exactly what Trump, without any evidence, was accused of. In this case the Democrats would actually be guilty of election interference.
All of this really means is that they know Kamala-Walz will not win in November.
Raskin is a fool and an idiot. Should be fun watching him rant and rave from behind bars.
If you recall; — Trump was hoping that Vice President Pence would delay certification of the votes, and instead ask states to check their numbers to ensure that the right candidate was being declared the winner.
Democrats said: “The Constitution doesn’t give the VP that power.”
Pence said: “The Constitution doesn’t give me that power.”
After Biden became president, the Democrats passed a law which removed that power from the Vice President.
In recent months, when asked how VP Kamala Harris would act if Trump won, she essentially shrugged and indicated that as VP, she would simply refuse to certify his votes and thereby block his inauguration.
Now it seems that the Democrats are calmly planning an insurrection. Because why wouldn’t they?
