They just finished debris removal….after 6 months! No permits to build have been issued.

Thanks to Karen Bass and her administration.

People get the government they deserve.

New York City is next if they elect a socialist.

I did construction in Miami after Hurricane Andrew and 6 months after the storm we had completely rebuilt some homes from the foundation up. This refusal to issue permits is bizarre.

Can anyone explain why Karen Bass will not issue permits for Malibu residents to rebuild their homes?

The homes in Miami don't have to be built to earthquake standards, moron. In fact, Florida doesn't seem to have any building standards whatsoever, given the number of structures that simply collapse in that state. No wonder you can't get property insurance there.

Also, the debris in Florida hadn't been rendered toxic and dangerous because of the fires.
