He's a politician, he's trying to play both sides. Trump should be doing the same but in his own manner. It's not difficult to be supportive of good police and Rule of Law, while also demanding the exercising of this involves respecting civil liberty, the constitution and fairness for all. Consequences should be had for both criminals and police that act like criminals or cause death unnecessarily.

Trump has to understand, there are many Conservatives, gun owners and even people who opened up their businesses early who view their rights and civil disobedience to be part of being American. It shouldn't end in them being shot at or thrown in prison. Trump has to write it out a few ways in which he can capture the essence of both premises.

This is why I believe the MSM know how important this election is for their democrat fortunes and control going forward. Even Fox to some degree are going to be more neutral or even show some Dem bias, as they like the Establishment system as well to some degree.
