Trump told people to go peacefully and lawfully, he tried to get increased security for that day and tried to go down to the capitol afterwards and they refused to take him. Had Trump been there, the crowd would have been keyed to him, listened to him and had the protest gotten out of control from the cops instigating it with flash-bang grenades, he would have called them back and they would have listened.

Democrats NEEDED J6 to happen and MADE it happen in order to use to try to keep Trump out of office.

It is because the guy keeps winning and succeeding that they had to engineer a steal of the 2020 election to stop his reelection. Now having failed at fifteen other draconian attempts to end his political career, now they are trying to keep his name from even appearing on the ballot. For reasons which don't even apply to him.

It would not surprise me if next, there is an attempt made on his life.
