Don't worry, it's not just LA, it's ALL large cities now, and spreading to smaller ones and even small towns.

Small towns have more pride and cops who are allowed to do their job. Places like LA, San Fran, Portland could all turn things around if they publicly hanged their mayors and city counsels and ran new elections. After they elected the same ilk and THEY were hanged as well, things would begin to improve.

Progressives sell their visions as a Huxley type Brave New World utopia of unlimited sex, drugs & collectivist plenty for all.
In reality, they are using the Orwell 1984 playbook because they know Huxley's version is pure fantasy that could never happen in the real world.

Orwell knew the way to enforce totalitarian collectivism is to beat down & cower the masses, divide them into groups & set them against each other.
Happy people may not make many waves but they still have options & could still wake up.
Take away options, leave them nothing but survival mode & you have them in an iron grip where they will gladly turn on each other.

They also try to change or eliminate speech that they find dangerous.
How does a future society rebel for freedom when the very words/concepts such as freedom & rebellion no longer exist?
