First of all let me say I know that the political system we have is a republic...so all those nitpickers can rest easy that want to rush here and edumacate me to dat fact. hehheh
Anyhow......to git back to mah topic.....most are fed up with the chaos in Washington, the ongoing attempt to de-legitimize a Presidential election, investigation after investigation...aka mob rule.
The Athenian philosophers disdained democracy. They held that democracy "distrusts ability and has a reverence for numbers over knowledge." (Will Durant, "The Story of Philosophy," New York, New York, 1961, p. 10.)
For the first fifteen years of mussolini ....from 1922-1937, Italy had thrived. Roads long abandoned and unfit for use were dug up and repaved. Factory doors once bolted were opened wide and the businesses running at full capacity. Museum works were refurbished and the train stations modernized and the trains ran on time. Crime that was once rampant, claiming thousands of victims a day, was shut down, the criminals either behind bars or beneath freshly turned ground.
A once starving populace pranced around with full stomachs and pockets crammed with cash. The eyetyes, who for decades had been treated as the adorable doormats of europe, reveled in their fresh avenues of strength.
What I am trying to get to or suggest is that we need a new political philosophy....democracy as we once knew it --worked pretty good as long as we had more or less a homogenous society...aka preponderantly white....that is no longer the case.
Unfortunately someone with power got the idea we needed diversity....more and more diversity...to the point now --we in a few short years --if the current demographic trends continue will have succeeded in transforming whites to a minority status.
Liberals ....rejoice in that not knowing what they have done and are doing.
Thus as anyone not incredibly dumb can see that we are coming un-glued aka coming unraveled.....chaos is in the air and it is getting worse and worse. Someone said there is a thin line between civilization and chaos....we have approached that line and are crossing over it...hence the paralysis in Washington...the increasing division of America as in 'a house divided against itself cannot stand.'
Thus the need to look for a better political philosophy....what kind of political philosophy should we be looking at...well certainly not marxism aka communism or socialism....no record of that succeeding anywhere.
I did not mention the early mussolini era for no reason....what that demonstrates is that Facism works and it worked there until Mussolini decided to pursue war.
Thus I think what we need to look at is an American form of fascism...that excludes seeking war and or getting involved in war after war as Trump wants to do.
An American form of fascism would focus on improving the lives of Americans, our economy, education, medical care etc. Aka.....put America first.
We wasted trillions in the middle east in wars that did not benefit us. As has been pointed out before....getting involved in the George Bush war in Iraq cost us enough money that could have paid for a new home for every American....sounds incredible...but it is true.
