Dem Strategy (of Linking Candidates to Trump) Test Coming in VA

Well, the Virginia race is expected to be much closer than the New jersey race, so it could be a good test of this tactic. It could be a wake up call to either party.

IF the GOP wins both gubernatorial contests, this should make it plain to Dems that they are heading to disaster with this stuff.

I think it will be win for the GOP in VA and for Dems in NJ.

I think the anti-Trump strategy is viable as a complementary one, but not as the central theme upon which a campaign rests. Getting rid of or opposing Trump cannot be the only thing one wants to do, particularly in a gubernatorial race. Governors can't do much to obstruct Trump.
