Remember it's Trump and Silicon Valley who are trying to demonize Deepseek. Because it's kicking their asses. Deepseek can do what they do for $1000 BETTER and for a dollar. Who do you want to buy from?

Well the problem (if there is one) is not with the application software but the operating system. If the OS enforces rigid rule then no application can do much. It is the infrastructure (OS etc) that enables breaches, the applications are not sufficiently constrained.

So take a simple example - passwords. Windows, Linux etc never store a users password, so it can never be stolen.

I’m not tech savvy and view Windows as a virus, but the only way I’d download DeepSpyware would be on my worst enemies computer and I don’t even have a worst enemy

Exactly, if the US can't compete it destroys.

1. I don't know why we just don't steal from China like they do us.

2. It's a global market now. Isn't this Government picking winners and losers? Don't republicans hate that? Send auto manufacturing jobs overseas because American workers make too much or buy Chinese AI because it's cheaper than American AI.

Isn't that what they said about Toyota and Honda? It's better and cheaper than Ford and GM? Well, DEEPSEEK is better and cheaper than ChatGPT. So let's buy it from China.
