There is now overwhelming evidence that MAGA is ascendant, and the political realignment at the expense of the Democrat party is very real.

Let the collapse continue.

NEW: GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Picks Up Massive Union Endorsement

In what can be viewed as a wider trend in the nationwide political landscape, as several major unions that have long-backed Democrats are now endorsing the Trump Administration’s agenda, Lalevee suggested that Ciattarelli can expect more endorsements from organized labor in the coming weeks.

Hey, NEW JERSEY.

Could ya send some of that common sense a little further north?

At least my city's MAGA. ;)

Hold on a second here Spanky

We need to vet these states a little better than want to turn red before we allow such things.

If Soros & Democommies focus 100% on Texas then states like New Jersey & New Mexico could fall into play
New Mexico is within the iron grip of the Democrats. It has never had a Republican majority legislature in its entire 113 year history as a state. They have redesigned the congressional districts to ensure that our federal representation will remain mostly Democrat as well as what many of us believe to be some hanky panky with close elections. No voter ID is allowed here. If you know an address and birthdate of a person, dead or alive, you can vote for that person. Challenging the vote in an election is so difficult most can't afford to do it.

Everything about New Mexico isn't terrible. Our state government isn't as bad as some. But New Mexico remains near the bottom of most of the good lists and near the top of most of the bad lists and I don't see that changing in what's left of my lifetime.

Not sure exactly what further North refers to, but, New York state has been adding US House members the last couple of elections and I saw a poll not too long ago showing that in the next race for governor, Hochul only has a 4 point lead over the presumed Republican front runner which, if I remember correctly, was within the margin of error.

Rhode Island.

I live in the second largest city (eh, 80,000) which has a Republican Mayor who attended Trump's inauguration.

But the rest of the state is Democrat with a lot of old school conservative Democrats here and there. (They just failed to pass an "assault" weapons ban in the Democrat super majority state senate, and my State Senator is a strongly anti-woke Dem.)

It's a weird set up haha

I live in Kentucky, who also has a weird setup. It's always been labeled a red state but that is actually far from the truth. Most people don't know it but for decades and decades (until fairly recently), the local state legislature and governor were all very much solid blue.

For some reason we had always voted blue in state contests and red in national contests. I never really figured out why that was. But, when I first moved here in 1985, the media was also solid blue and whichever candidate won the democrat primary for governor in May was just referred to as the next governor and the media didn't even acknowledge there was a general election in November and a Republican was running against the democrat primary winner. And, at that time, they were right, there was really no reason to expect that the Republican would win.

Interesting.

There's definitely a lot more nuance often times when it comes to state politics vs. national.

But I dare say that NJ - and also NY are more amenable to MAGA than some may think.

CT and RI will take some more time, but we'll get there.

After the Teamsters union endorsed Trump in 2024, I hoped the dominos would start to fall like this.

DemoKKKrats have been against working people for decades now.

A lot of this change at the state level has to do with Trump's undeniable popularity.

One of the most consistently accurate national polls now has Trump as more popular than Reagan.

That's something.

And now it looks like they're re-starting a gas pipeline in NY thanks to Trump.

That means cheaper gas bills throughout the Northeast.

Wonder how our local politicians will deal with another blow to their green energy boondoggle.

It’s amazing that posters here agree that New Jersey could turn Red ( but poo poo even any chance of New Mexico even turning purple ) 😝🤣😂

The left’s inability to hold onto its narrative and base in the face of a rising MAGA movement and political realignment is pure self-inflicted absurdity.

With all the transplanted Californios moving to Texas it'll be blue soon.
