Debs....Arising From The Dead

.” It appears the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU), which held a solidarity rally this Saturday afternoon, …. seemed more like a convention of far-left radicals than the image of clean-cut teachers the CTU would like to project. Thousands of red-shirted Chicago Teachers Union members flooded into Chicago’s aptly named Union Square Park at noon today to demonstrate for solidarity and workers’ rights. Protesters embraced radical revolutionary imagery, wearing shirts with Che Guevara on them and holding signs emblazoned with the “iron fist.”

Occupy Chicago and anarchist groups as well as the Progressive Labor Party, International Socialists, SEIU, AFL-CIO, and others stood alongside teachers chanting for solidarity…” Radical left coalesces around Chicago Teacher protest

Debs Arises From The Dead!

1. I have admitted to being a dyed in the wool pessimist. For some time I have prophesied the demise of this noble experiment in self government, America, and the victory of the dark forces. The handwriting has been on the wall for some time.

Months ago I concluded that the advance of evil will be in the form of this election, or one soon after, as there is no other Trump ready to fight with equal vigor. And before the demise of the Supreme Court Justice who should never have been promoted to that seat, I concluded that between gaining another textualist justice and the re-election of Trump, I would choose the former as that success would last decades longer.

2. Now….as far as history rhyming, as Twain supposedly said: the champion of socialism of an earlier time was Eugene Victor Debs. Intriguing that today is the birthday of Debs. And that he ran for President just years before what appears to be the victory of socialism.

“Eugene V. Debs
, in full Eugene Victor Debs, (born November 5, 1855, Terre Haute, Indiana, U.S.—died October 20, 1926, Elmhurst, Illinois), labour organizer and Socialist Party candidate for U.S. president five times between 1900 and 1920.

…Debs was deeply influenced by his broad reading—including the works of Karl Marx—and grew increasingly critical of traditional political and economic concepts, especially capitalism….he led the establishment of the Socialist Party of America. Debs was the party’s presidential candidate in 1900 but received only 96,000 votes, a total he raised to 400,000 in 1904. In 1905 he helped found the Industrial Workers of the World,…” Eugene V. My view has been that every society and civilization has a sell-by date, and we may have reached ours.

Oh, yes.

This country's sell-by date is, at the very latest, the end of this century,

Unless we can pry the schools from them, as earlier American pried their slaves from them.....America is lost.

As an immigrant to this nation, and considerably younger than 100 years old, much of my time has been spent reading and studying to understand what this nation has gone through.

This 3-volume work gives not just the history of Debs era, but the tone and texture of the Americans growing through it.

Here is one of the Amazon customer reviews:

"Farrell's work is one listed among the Modern Library's Top 100 Novels of all eternity (not quite the right label, but the top 100 novels is accurate). There are much more detailed and thoughtful comments than what I'll offer -- but as a former English teacher, I highly recommend this three-part epic for those wanting to learn more about how a significant portion of America's white population grew up hating a portion of America's non-white population in the first third of the 20th century. The racial language is brutal to read, and will be shocking to anyone not familiar with the crudity of the street language of the time. Farrell is not to be 'blamed' for this - he captures the tone, mood, and language of Lonigan and his buddies and their fear and hatred at the time. Fast forward a century -- and you have, perhaps, where America is now. Apart from that, "Studs Lonigan" is a literary look at America, its economy, its social structure, and its inability to accept change -- all through the eyes of an aging, sensitive 'brute.'

If you believe that history repeats, this book may give support to that view.

You will not regret the time spent on the 1000 pages.

Eugene Victor Debs and the Socialist Party IS the current Democrat Party re-born.

Here's history repeating itself.

E.V.Debs was the Socialist candidate, in 1912, and Debs received the largest share of the popular vote ever by a Socialist candidate, and had later been convicted of violating Wilson’s Espionage and Sedition Acts. The jury found Debs guilty. Debs said to the jury: “while there is a lower class, I am in it, while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and where there is a soul in prison, I am not free.”
Nick Salvatore, “Eugene V. Debs: Citizen and Socialist,” p. 295. Sentenced to ten years in prison.

For Debs, the Socialist, America needed government control of basic industries and a broad-based trade unionism. Chace, p.8 As a radical, Debs became the living symbol of discontent with the oppressive order of unrestrained capitalism.
He persuaded listeners that he was no doctrinaire Marxist, but one who understood the problems of working men and women in the new world of industrial capitalism. He had them envision a transcendent and fairer social order based on the brotherhood of man.
  1. True to radical dogma, he believed that the power held by capitalist America should be transferred to those who made the products that created the wealth.
  2. Debs called for a new ‘partnership,’ when “we have stopped clutching at each other’ threats, when we have stopped enslaving each other, we will stand together, hands clasped, and be friends. We will be comrades, we will be brothers, and we will begin the march to the grandest civilization the human race had ever known.” Ray Ginger, “The Bending Cross: A Biography of Eugene Victor Debs, “p. 266.
  3. “I learned of the hardships of the rail in snow, sleet and hail, of the ceaseless danger that lurks along the iron highway, the uncertainty of employment, scant wages and altogether trying lot of the working man, so that from my boyhood I was made to feel the wrongs of labor.” Ibid, p. 19
  4. 4. Early on he was quite properly seen not as a radical but as a decent Democratic politician and labor leader. In 1884, he wrote an editorial for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman, stating that the union “is not to antagonize capital. Strikes do that; hence we oppose strikes as the remedy for the ills of which labor complains.” Nick Salvatore, “Eugene V. Debs: Citizen and Socialist,” p.49.

There is nary 1° of difference Debs and his movement, and the Biden/Democrat movement you have been tricked into voting for.

The central theme of this thread is that the spirit and demands of Eugene Victor Debs' Socialist Movement has been co-opted and channeled by Biden and his Socialists/Democrats.

The Industrial Workers of the World....the IWW......
… the most violent organization in the US, the 'wobblies.'

1. "During its heyday before and for a decade after WWI, the IWW had a most unsavory reputation for violence."
JSTOR: An Error Occurred Setting Your User Cookie

2. The Industrial Workers of the World (I.W.W.) was a radical organization in the United States that was most active between the turn of the century and the 1930s. The Wobblies, as they were known, believed there must be radical changes in American capitalism to improve the oppressive conditions that workers faced. Many I.W.W. members believed in socialist or communist ideology and some advocated whatever means necessary to effect change, including sabotage and violence... ::: Centralia Massacre Collection :::

3. "Defining Sabotage
In 1914 the organization began to publish multiple-language editions of leaflets, newspapers and stickers that advocated sabotage. The term had been used to describe a range of tactics: striking, slowing down work, or even property destruction. Historians still debate what the I.W.W. meant by "sabotage." Some believe that the I.W.W. advocated violence and assassination in their push for "direct action," while others believe the I.W.W.'s concept of sabotage was more innocent. In a famed sticker designed by Ralph Chapin, the image of a wooden shoe (sabot in Dutch, the root word for "sabotage") and an I.W.W. sun appear over a quote from William Haywood: "Sabotage means to push back, pull out or break off the fangs of Capitalism." Predictably, the I.W.W.'s sabotage resulted in supression. By 1917 some twenty states had adopted laws which criminalized acts of sabotage or violence with a political end."
American Experience | Emma Goldman | People & Events | PBS

4. The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW or the Wobblies) is an international union. At its peak in 1923, the organization claimed some 100,000 members in good standing, and could marshal the support of perhaps 300,000 workers.

Your post is on the money. When the self governed go down to the dark side it will be by CHOICE or better said personal will. The 7th beast king/dom that will remain for a little while looks to be the spirit that occupied Adolf(12 yr span of the 3rd Reich). That beast looks to me to make a comeback as the 8th & final beast king(anti Christ) Rev 17:8-11. At this point it seems to accelerate & the day of the Lord comes suddenly when ALL will least expect it(there's a reason for that). As far as socialists(Adolf was a self admitted socialist) they have a strong history of involvement with the occult/mind altering drugs. As far as America goes there will come a time of judgement & I just hope & pray to be long dead before my 1st love is slaughtered.
Like anyone I was not born with infinite wisdom. Everyfhing I have learned was/is just secondary info I learned from others. I mean there really is nothing new under the sun. The above info may or may not be correct by my interpretation of it. I can paste the link to your post if you desire so you can get it from the horses mouth. The link has quite a bit more info than what I listed above.

If you believe that history repeats, this book my give support to that view.

You will not regret the time spent on the 100 pages.
I don't mind reading and understanding our federal Constitution.
You're not doing a very good job of it.

He wants to open a business giving chicks free massages..

Just like he saw in some porn on the internet.

I can always be grateful for modern broadband times; the left understand morality, unlike the right wing.
What good is understanding morality if you don't live it?
I'd prefer to be totally ignorant of it.

You have achieved your desire.

The value of education is that one can connect the dots, see the big picture, and not be tricked into focusing on tiny details.

Eugene Victor Debs was a socialist.
There is no difference between socialism and communism, except for the requirement of revolution.

Alinsky understood how to use the system for revolution.....and Hillary Clinton learned and absorbed this, too.

"In 1969, the year that publishers reissued Alinsky’s first book, Reveille for Radicals, a Wellesley undergraduate named Hillary Rodham submitted her 92-page senior thesis on Alinsky’s theories (she interviewed him personally for the project).6 In her conclusion Hillary compared Alinsky to Eugene Debs, Walt Whitman and Martin Luther King.

The title of Hillary’s thesis was “There Is Only the Fight: An Analysis of the Alinsky Model.” In this
title she had singled out the single most important Alinsky contribution to the radical cause - his
embrace of political nihilism. An SDS radical once wrote, “The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.” In other words the cause - whether inner city blacks or women - is never the\ real cause, but only an occasion to advance the real
cause which is the accumulation of power to make the revolution. That was the all consuming focus of Alinsky and his radicals. Horowitz, “Barack Obama’s Rules For Revolution,” p. 8-9.

EV Debs....Saul Alinsky....Hillary Clinton....Obama....Biden's Democrats.....and everyone tricked into siding with any of them: All Marxists.
All enemies of America.

Whether it is Eugene Victor Debs or the latest iteration, it's still revolution and the hammer and sickle.

And.....BTW.....did you see the home of "Republican congressional candidate Sean Parnell says his home was vandalized with similar graffiti that read, "Elections No Revolution Yes!" Parnell tweeted a photo on Sunday morning of what appears to be his garage door along with the tweet, "My house was vandalized last night by cowards under the cover of darkness. This is what is at stake in this election. We all must fight for our country and we must do it NOW. I will not cower. I will not back down. I will always fight for this nation."
