Debate Moderators- Biased again

How is it that the Republican Party of the US can turn over to Liberals all control of the debates, the moderators, and the formats? Are we to understand that giving the Democrats all the advantages is to OUR benefit? If this RNC was in place back in the 1800's, the demcrats would have bullets in their duelling pistols, and the republicans would not, perhaps so we could be visualized as NICE People. What is the problem here. I have heard not a sound from any of the RNC regarding the fairness of these debates.
