WSSC is trying to keep the pipes from bursting, and it hasn't really been cold for long yet. To be fair, the infrastructure is so old and bad there it's a wonder they can keep things going at all. Well, safety first. NBC just advised the residents there to boil the water for 2 minutes before drinking it. They further advised to let it cool before you swig it. It sounds redundant, but there will be some baby mama that wants some closure for her chidren's burns. Just wait.
