Just heard Dave Neihaus died on my local news. Can't even find a article yet!

RIP Dave!

Dave Niehaus (February 19, 1935 - November 10, 2010) was an American sportscaster. He was the lead play-by-play announcer for Major League Baseball's Seattle Mariners from their inaugural season in 1977 until his death in 2010. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008 as the recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award, the highest honor for American baseball broadcasters. Among Pacific Northwest fans and his peers, Niehaus is considered one of the finest sportscasters in history.

I met him on a number of occasions while doing work for another team. Nice guy.

That is pretty cool! He seems like he would be a nice guy.
