Saudi Arabia’s top Islamic cleric has called on parents not to let their little daughters dance in front of men as the Gulf Kingdom’s religious police threatened to punish those responsible for allowing little girls to dance during a local festival.

A film showing a group of little Saudi girls dancing on stage in front of men during the annual ‘Spring festival’ in the central town of Buraidah on Friday triggered criticism by many scholars and viewers after it went viral on social networks and local newspapers.

When I was 13-14, I went to a Christian church that did not allow dancing. Lots of Christian churches do not allow dancing. It was an Evangelical church. You are looking to criticize Muslims when Christians do the same thing. How foolish.

That is true that some very strict Christian sects forbid dancing. However, do they have religious cops going out in the public to harass people at different festivals where young girls happening to be dancing? Just be happy that wherever you live, you don't have these cops running around trying to catch every little thing which they think goes against these religion. You might find yourself landing up in jail.
