Customers can bring food prices down, fast.

Wouldnt beans and rice prices would rise?
If they do switch to potatoes, or whatever is cheap. Most effective would be to eat only what you need. Americans eat nearly twice as much as they need nutritionally. There is so much wrong here.

Keep voting Democrat and you'll likely get your wish. :omg:

Not necessarily. Let's say you reduce your consumption to maintenance levels, eating about half of what you now eat. You are actually putting less pressure on the food supply not more. However, in order to sell what people have stopped eating prices would fall.

I heard from Dr Oz we were going to lose 135,000,000,000 pounds. That is 472,500,000,000,000 or 472 Trillion calories. That should lower prices since Americans only eat 287 Trillion calories per year.

Yep, it's either sell an item at 1/3rd less the price or donate and write it off for much less.

That's if a lot of people take those weight loss drugs.

My Mom was from the South we had crawfish from the creek and black eyed peas with ham hocks. Oxtail stew was another cheap good dish. And, can't forget the cornbread.

We were working class, but we ate good.

Just go on 'beans and rice' for a while. Prices will drop like a rock. You're welcome.
A beans and rice diet is a nutritious combination that provides complete plant-based protein, high fiber, and essential minerals like iron, magnesium, and potassium. While the combination creates a complete protein, this diet is not a complete diet on its own and lacks certain vitamins, such as Vitamin C, so it should be supplemented with other foods like vegetables.
Enjoy your Scurvy ,,,, and the higher prices of beans and rice because of demand. .

PS : At least use brown rice for christ's sake
