Cruz wins Iowa!

it'll be interesting. you essentially have a three way tie with the republicans that only accounts for about 75% of the vote.
can you say that you really 'won' when you get less than 30% of the vote?

Cruz will get Carson voters:cool-45:
Carson voters seem more likely to go towards trump to me. maybe rubio. i don't think they're going to go to cruz, or at least not all

^ Stupid dumbass ignorant question.

YES, you can say you won. Because, you won.

And the other guys lost.

In losing, Rubio kind of won also.

In coming in 2d, Trump firmly lost.
Barely second

Iowa was always a close call for Trump.
The media outlets are probably having a heart attack that he did so well.

He was expected to win. He came close to third. Trump lost the battle of expectations in Iowa and in turn failed a key political test.
Iowa...Been pointless for 16 years.
I'm very happy with tonight's results.

oh i agree that there are still winners and losers.

but if you're cruz, and you want to claim victory, i think the first thing i say as trump is that 70% voted against him. of course that can be turned right around on any candidate, but with the vote as fractured as it is it'll be interesting to see what happens going forward. who drops out and endorses whom will really make a difference
One thing for sure is that Trump doesn't need financing to continue campaigning.
a very good point. as has been said before, there's only so much hard money out there for the candidates to collect. financially some people will have to see the writing on the wall.

rubio's finances might get a bump out of this.

The heads are saying it's all over for Trump.

Wasn't pointless to Trump. I also don't think Cruz is going anywhere but with Trump's own expectations falling short he put Rubio back on the map. Which, as a liberal really isn't good news. I'd rather face Trump.

he isn't hurting for money and he polls well nationally. i don't expect he'll drop out soon at all. he's leaving with nearly if not as many delegates as anyone else.
