Crimea is not Russia...it is Ukraine land and Ukraine ports and Ukraine equipment that Russia has taken.

And since Russia has stolen Crimea Ukraine cut off ALL fresh water supplies....which I'd one reason Russia went for an all out invasion....to destroy the dams the Ukranians built. More is coming...Ukraine is getting Crimea back.

This was a Ukranian counterpunch for the missiles they sent yesterday.

24 Russian missiles got sent...one got through and killed civilians. (10 women and children) No military personnel were killed.

So Russia lost oil and diesel and tanker ship loading capabilities and storage tanks. Sucks to be either side in this fight.

That is nasty part of war, having attack your own occupied territory in order to liberate it. Ukraine is going all in to retake Crimea.

Russia is stretched very thin and the troops are poorly led and poorly trained (a Russian Fighter Pilot bombed is own country).

Russian Forces are being out fought plain and simple. None of Pooty's hand picked generals have been able to win. The Russian's have bombed and rocketed civilian targets such as apartment buildings, churhes, hospitals and schools. Targeting of civilians is War Crime, but being the former Lieutenant Colonel is the K.G.B., Pooty could care less.

No....Russia has has contracts to use the seaports as they are the only ones in the neighborhood that do not freeze up in the winter...and unless they stop the nonsense they will lose the use of them.

It isn't just the USA....it's all of Europe and the Asian continent that is supporting Ukraine against Russia....even Israel. And there are others doing so too from around the world but not publicly.
So much so that China is trying hard to not help either side. They just want to keep their customer base.

This is part of a treaty....ratified by Congress. If we become treaty breakers like Russia what will we do then? Will we get anymore treaties? Who would sign one with us? NATO would be defunct.

The dumbest thing we could do is not keep our promises the way Obama and Trump did. They BOTH failed miserably. Glad they are gone. The Republicans whined about the invasion in 2014 and Obama's lack of doing anything but it was drowned out by Hillary's bumbling of servers and other foreign policy disasters.

They lost them when the USSR dissolved. That's why they had to obtain contracts and leases to use them.
However....the leases were set to renewal...and the term was up.

New lease contracts were going to be written....ones that allowed more free trade instead of Mafia type trade in those ports. And that's what caused the 2014 invasion.
