Only in America. The rest of us are smarter than that. We vote out the governments that put the corporations first.
I don't see how Americans can vote against "predator" corporations by "choosing" between Republicans or Democrats?

"During the heat of the 2019 primary campaign, Biden huddled with some of the richest people in New York City to assure them he would guard their interests.
"'I mean, we may not want to demonize anybody who has made money,' Biden said. 'The truth of the matter is, you all, you all know,
you all know in your gut what has to be done. We can disagree in the margins but the truth of the matter is it’s all within our wheelhouse and nobody has to be punished.
No one’s standard of living will change, nothing would fundamentally change.'"
Republicans have crashed the economy 3 times in 40 years, enriching the wealthy and impoverishing working people each time. Furthermore, after the 2008 crash, Republicans bailed out the big banks, the mortgage lenders and Wall Street, and left working men and women out to dry.
Working people have fallen further and further behind economically, as wages have stagnated under Republican economic policies which reward investment, not work. Just as in 2008, Republicans were eager to bail out large multinational corporations, and less willing to help working Americans, all of whom were harder hit than the corporations who received a huge tax cut in 2018, and are awash in cash.
At least Democrats give raises, and are trying to deal with 40 years of neglect of workers needs or even consideration of anything that might negatively impact profitability. American workers are the lowest paid, in the first world.
The rest of the world world's workers have government funded healthcare, paid vacations, paid maternity leave with job security, for returning workers, in addition to higher wages, government funded retraining in the event of unemployment, sick leave, and a host of benefits low wage American workers can only dream of.
You say both parties are the same, not by a long shot.
