In post #1, 857, we mentioned the F-to-L mutation. The investigation continues for evidence of The Elf's freudian slip during his video (USMB search). This freudian slip links to SARS1, not just SARS2.
Here's one of the world's foremost experts, Ralph Baric, telling us all about it:
'Through the use of synthetic biology and the multicomponent SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, a recent study has created a novel challenge strain of virus expressing the S glycoprotein of GD03, a SARS-CoV strain that emerged independently in the human population and has an S protein that bears amino acid similarity to zoonotic strains.

This is the most powerful evidence thusfar for linking the source of The Elf's "freudian slip," because it contains The Elf's actual mistake, getting it backwards ("G to D") and what the actual SARS2 mutation ("D to G," position 614) is, just next-door to position 613 of chimeric GD03.
Ironically, the D614G mutation occurs very close to timing of its emergence in China (a week or so) its emergence in (Germany [italics]), now sporting the highest mortality of the pandemic: 40%
Thus, the North Carolina mutation of post #1,857 links to Baric's (North Carolina) chimera, GD03. duh

Both an RGD motif and a furin cleavage site have been found that link to the first human to sequence SARS2, CDC's Yong-Zhen Zhang. It is a Chinese tick-borne phlebovirus, similar to the phelobovirus from the American dog tick found on Long Island, previously mentioned.
So in 2015 when Huazhong Agricultural University inserted a furin cleavage site (USMB search) into a sudden-death-causing pig coronavirus, PEDV, they were experimenting with furin cleavage sites previously found in Chinese ticks.
