Right, but the response to COVID- locking the entire facility down, forcing ALL staff to wear masks at ALL times, etc. was vastly disproportionate to the actual threat COVID presented

Similarly, closing down schools and mask mandates for people running errands and grocery shopping was ridiculous overkill. No one can deny that at this point

My point was that the normal universal precautions we’ve always used for seasonal illnesses long before COVID are perfectly sufficient and there’s no need to run around like Chicken Little when there’s an increase in COVID cases

Shots for 2025-2026 are approved for people 65 and older and those under 65 with an underlying condition that puts them at high risk of severe COVID. Last year, everyone over 6 months was eligible for the shot.

Yep ... I worked in a teaching hospital in the physical plant department for many years.
Even though I wasn't a direct healthcare worker I spent much time in those areas where the patient's rooms were. Everyone had to have a department of epidemiology pass which usually required shots and regular checkups.
