UK police arrested three young men after a car explosion killed one person and left another injured near a Liverpool hospital.

London (CNN)Counter-terrorism police are investigating after one person died and another was injured Sunday when a car exploded outside Liverpool Women's Hospital in northwest England.

"So far we understand that the car involved was a taxi which pulled up at the hospital shortly before the explosion occurred," a Merseyside police statement said.

"We are keeping an open mind as to what caused the explosion but given how it has happened, out of caution, Counter Terrorism Police are leading the investigation supported by Merseyside Police."
It has not been declared a terrorist incident, the force added.


The injured person is being treated in hospital and has not suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. The incident occurred at about 11 a.m. local time (6 a.m. ET).

Ths car was a taxi. The driver picked up the terrorist and saw that he was dodgy. He got out of the cr in time and locked the terrorist in it. The bomb went off and killed the bad guy. Driver hurt in the explosion.
The taxi driver is a hero. My Grandson was born in that hospital 2 years ago.

Speculation is that he was going to the Remembrance Service in the city. They arrested 3 others soon afterwards which suggests that he was on the radar.

They love killing people in churches...Islamist terrorists do.
Absolute security is the best way to stop them.
The Cathedral should've been locked down, the surrounds locked down, the streets back from the surrounds locked down, armed cops with machine guns patrolling everywhere.
Only invited guests allowed in, allowed anywhere near the Cathedral.
No Islamic terrorists posing as Christians allowed anywhere near the event.

Britain needs to change the way it does things.
It's now awash with Islamic terrorists, murders of innocent people are happening regularly now...Britain is under attack...it should be announcing a "call to arms".
People should be encouraged to "dob in a terrorist"...report to a dedicated terror hotline the slightest thing they consider suspicious.
People buying pool chemicals who don't have a pool, for example.

Britain also needs to erect fences and walls.
Everyone made carry ID papers and produce them on request. Vehicles able to be stopped by anti-terror police anytime and anywhere.

Immigration should cease, until a large microscope is run over everyone now in Britain...and just who's who and what's what is shown clearly.
