Could Trump implode BEFORE Cleveland?

Yesterday he implied the twice elected President of the US may be complicit in a terrorist attack, and claimed the terrorist was born in "Afghan." And the latter was actually from his campaign's PREPARED text.

I mean forget last week's "Mexican Judge" from Indiana. The guy may be going for the brass bull here.

I realize Mitch and Paul have handed over their balls to the guy, but at some point doesn't he become purely a parody?
The Hits just keep on coming for Trump

Corker Distances Himself from Trump
June 14, 2016

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN), who has been mentioned as a possible running mate for Donald Trump, told reporters that Trump’s speech following the worst mass shooting in American history “wasn’t the type of speech one would expect” from a presidential candidate, USA Today reports.

Said Corker: “In an effort to be constructive, I have offered public encouragement at important times, but I must admit that I am personally discouraged by the results.”

yeah, well maybe the OP title was misleading (not that I copied it) But increasingly gopers do not want to comment on the shit coming out of this cretin's mouth.

The Mexican judge last week and the terrorist sympathizer potus and afghan born terrorist this week. And "revoking" the Wash Post credentials. And it's only Tues! Think of the possibilities! LOL

So, if there's a lack of gop comment, does the story become "Well Trump says more stupid shit today, but no one wants to comment ... and now here's Steffi with your personal shopping tips for today, and stay tuned in for your up to the minute weather forecast."? LOL

Clinton's up about 5% nationally, and if it goes close to 10% before Clev ... whoa Nelly. Not like the sane people in the gop didn't warn this could happen

Where do you get your news/info from?
You missed it, kid? Hiding under your blankie again?
nah...he is just well aware that Trump is an off the cuff speaker...and when you speak opff the cuff, it is easy for your words to be taken out of context.

You know.....like Joe the Plumber and the "spread the wealth" thing.....and Joe Biden and the "they want you in chains" thing.....and Pelosi and the old "the CIA lied to congress"......

You guys jerk off looking for his misteps when talking off the cuff.

I actually find it entertaining to watch you guys. Especially you, dog.

The problem with Trump, however, is he has a never ending supply of lies and gaffs - he's like Pandora's box, Republicans have no idea what's going to come out when the mouth opens. No other candidate has represented such a wealth of...difficult to excuse comments

You don't get it. Republicans were sick of the same old same old "I'll tell you what I think you want to hear to get your vote" bullshit and decided "yeah we don't like everything Trump says, but at least he's not a Washington asshole who reads a fucking poll before deciding which cereal to have for breakfast"

You know what this country needs? Less lawyer/politicians. I mean who was the first person who thought combining two professions known for being dishonest together was a good idea?

Sometimes - just because something different than the status quo, does not mean it's better - that's the danger with supporting trump.

Ah did not have sexual relations with that woman. (an' ah'm sticking to that story) (-"

You know what's really upsetting. All the GOPe morons who are/have distanced themselves from him. I mean Trump need's these clowns to win the nomination

I laugh when publications write these long articles about how all these dopey establishment types are distancing themselves from him.

The pundits. liberals and media are so fucking tone deaf that they STILL haven't figured out that 3+ million voters have rejected these dopes and don't care what they say/think. The voters make fun of these dopey conservatives who still believe they are relevant. They carry as much weight as the liberals who are rejecting him

I doubt there is any more danger supporting Trump than there is Hillary. Never know what she may do either. Or what may come out of her closet.

Let's not vote!! :D

They're scared. They like lining pockets, and are scared they might lose that if he gets in.

I assume that is the Republican elite/establishment....the ones that are so scared they will lose their cookie jar...just like the Dem establishment is.
Grain of salt.
Well I think the gop is scared they'll lose the senate, and if so abortion will remain legal and Citizens United will fall, at least to the extent that Congress will have the power to limit spending by outside groups on elections in the closing few weeks before voting. People will be able to give money to any candidate of their choice.

In the House the gop is more "concerned" Hillary Clinton will not sign legislation rolling back enviro regs and Obamacare. I think there's a small fear they could lose the House, and if so, say hello to my little friend Single Payer Healthcare

I think the Dems fear is that since we're still on Obama's watch, a bunch of terror attacks could scare a lot of people. However, universally both dem and goper law enforcement people are saying Donald is 100% wrong on his views about immigration and security.

Trump doesn't need Romney or Ryan or the rest of the establishment dopes to win. With the exception of the pundits, liberals and the media, EVERYONE already knows and understands this. When you have amassed the most votes in the history of the Republican party the elites no longer matter. They hate that fact.

Yes both sides are afraid of losing, but it's about more than just money.

Maybe so, but it is MOSTLY money.

The president could have prevented a suspected terrorist investigated by the FBI and on the "no fly list" at one time from obtaining a firearm at the stroke of a freaking pen but he was too busy forcing schools to allow confused boys in the girls locker room. It is alleged that the Obama administration forced the HLS to destroy files on terrorist suspects and cease investigations. The A.G. was more interested in using the resources of the federal government against American citizens who insult Muslems than she was in pursuing suspected terrorists. It's alleged that she forced the FBI to drop their investigation against the terrorist who became the shooter. For these reasons Trump was absolutely correct in implicating the president in the deaths at the Orlando nightclub.

The elite is stuck with Trump whether they like it or not. But Hillary got more votes than Trump in the primaries. So, it's early for victory laps, and I think Trump's chances are 40-60 and slipping.

Mitt and the Bushs truly don't care personally about money. The question was whether they could ever be separated from tax cuts for the 1% and lower wages. The Bankers and fossil fuel industry care about money. The Israel firsters care about power and influence.

And there are some with principles who, for example, think Obama's missing, missed a golden chance to dismantle Isis. And that America is better off with less govt mandates on individual behavior.

Polls? Not only does he live by the polls, he never met a camera he didn't love! We can't risk allowing that man to get anywhere near the WH although, I want him in the race until the bitter end just to be sure the Democrats win! :)

If Trump's immigration policy was in effect in the 80s, all 50 of those Americans would be alive today.

Liberals

"Trump exercises his free speech, he's an asshole"
"So what that HIllary broke federal law"

morons

She broke a rule and nobody is complaining about Trump using his free speech, but thanks for hanging your plastic patriot wreathe in the thread, it comes with all the sincerity as the made in China sticker on the back.

She didn't break a rule moron, she violated the LAW. And spare me your "Powell and Rice did the same thing" stupidity because no they did not, you are just stupid too realize the difference between sending and receiving an email

And I don't give a flying fuck about her politics in this matter. If that were MY mother who had done that I'd say she's guilty of espionage. Just because some of you are too stupid to realize the implications of classified material being left unsecured doesn't mean the implications aren't there.

Because you said so doesn't work. Show us in the State Dept. report where they said she broke the law and no dumbass, she is not guilty of espionage. lol.
