1. Anyone know the source of the phrase "they know not what they do,"?

2. The Presidential elections from Obama through Biden (or whoever was running the White House under Biden) was disheartening not just for Republicans, bur essentially for any who believed in the American ethos- God given rights, individualism, and justice.

3. Take a look at this:
"By the numbers: The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has grown from 7,000 members to 50,000 since President Trump was elected.

At least 46 Democratic socialist candidates and two DSA-backed ballot measures have won their primaries in 2018, according to a list compiled by the DSA.
  • Of those, 14 were endorsed by the national DSA chapter (but the other were endorsed by their local chapter.)
  • Four of their candidates are running for U.S. House; the rest are running for state-level office, like state House, state Senate, and city council.
Some DSA victories this cycle include:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Julia Salazar in New York
  • James Thompson in Kansas
  • Rashida Tlaib in Michigan
  • Sarah Smith in Washington
  • Four women in Pennsylvania, all backed by the Philly chapter of DSA, won their primaries for state House: Summer Lee and Sara Innamorato both unseated longtime Democratic incumbents, and Elizabeth Fiedler and Kristin Seale won their races.
Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic socialist darling of 2018, has endorsed at least five candidates outside of DSA who have won their primaries, including Ayanna Pressley in Massachusetts, Ben Jealous in Maryland, Stacey Abrams in Georgia, Andrew Gillum in Florida and Ilhan Omar in Minnesota.
The bottom line: The Democratic socialist movement is growing at every level of government."

4. Whether you call it socialism or communism, it isn't American. They threw everything they could at Trump......but something made America do a full stop to the Leftists......

5. Was there a sense in the American subconsciousness....or conscience......that we have gone wayyyyyy too far, and this sure isn't the America we want:

There was no Trump landslide.

You know the old joke, a moderate Islamist is simply one with no ammunition.

That's pretty close to the difference between socialists and communists.

In an article on socialism in the Encyclopedia Britannica, Prof. G. D. H. Cole, a leading theoretician and historian of the British Labor Party, declares: The distinction between socialism as distinguished by various Labor and Socialist parties of Europe and the New World, and communism, as represented by the Russians and minority parties in other countries is one of tactics-and-strategy rather than one of objective. Communism is indeed only socialism pursued by revolutionary means and making its revolutionary method a canon of faith...."

Yep. Thats the real WOKE

There was no Trump landslide.
A Democrat far smarter than you wrote this......would you like to debate him?

STEPHEN A. SMITH: It is a mandate, and I'm going to explain why.

Now I don't mind the question, but let me be very clear. I'm no supporter of Trump. I'm a supporter of truth and facts. And here's the facts. The man won every swing state. He increased in terms of his vote, his voter turnout, in his favor, from the standpoint of blacks, Latinos and young voters. He increased his numbers in that regard from 2020. 89 percent of the counties shifted to the right. That's a mandate.

We can sit up here and play around all we want to. In 2020, Trump didn't win the popular vote. He didn't win the electoral college vote. As a matter of fact the Republicans have won the popular vote, if I remember correctly, since 2004. But they did this year. So 20 years after they last won a popular vote, they won the popular vote. They won the electoral college vote. The man won every swing state. And on top of it all, 89 percent of the counties shifted (inaudible.)

I don't understand how people can look at that and say "There's no mandate." There's a mandate.

Memes: Mental masturbation for the slow witted.

We have a horrible education system in this country....that explains Trump's election more than anything. American children don't seriously study civics in middle school and high school anymore and they don't understand the importance of competent and ethical government.

Yes, working class voters are frustrated and desperate. But you don't turn to a face-eating leopard like Trump and this fascist MAGA Republican Party because the Democratic Party has not done enough to help you make ends meet. That's just plain stupidity.

In most elections, you are voting for the lesser of two evils. And the Democratic Party is far less evil and far less dangerous than Trump and his deranged MAGA fascist movement.

It is always pleasing when one of the brainwashed Leftists shows up in these threads to prove everything I write.

Let's spotlight his attempt to reverse the facts and name the Americans, the Trump voters as Fascists.

Today's educational lecture is provided by the Left leaning Economist, where a review of the documentary "The Soviet Story" shows that Bolshevism, Nazism, Fascist are actually one and the same.

Time and again we find government school grads believing the propaganda that the Communists are on the Left and the Nazis on the Right.

Those who believe propaganda tend to vote Democrat, so this thread may save America: the two mentioned above are cousins if not brothers, and come from the same 'parent."

The Soviet Story," an award winning documentary clarifying the close and personal attachments of Hitler's Nazis and Stalin's Communists.

The Left-leaning Economist says the following:

"Soviet Story" is the most powerful antidote yet to the sanitisation of the past. The film is gripping, audacious and uncompromising. [...] The main aim of the film is to show the close connections—philosophical, political and organisational—between the Nazi and Soviet systems." Telling the Soviet story

I was pleased to see that there are honest Democrats like Stepeh A.

I recently went to the debate with Smith, O'Reilly, and Chris Cuomo at Westbury.

There was no landslide. MAGA lies.
The usual "is not, is nooooooottttttttttt!!!" post from a Leftist.

This is a sad phenomenon......there is a percentage of Americans that are so damaged by the media and government schools, that they are and will always be oblivious to reality.

1 There are those of us who have been brought up correctly, with the right principles and knowledge of right and wrong

2. Some of us may not have had that start, and been misled by sophistry, but finally saw through it and moved in the right direction.

3. This poor sad fool belongs to neither of those categories. But he is not alone: Around 22% of Americans identify as strong Democrats, meaning they are highly likely to consistently vote for Democratic candidates, no matter how many lies and hoaxes are revealed.

As per the OP, quite a number of Democrats, the brighter ones, didn't vote for the party, hence Trump's landslide.

I wonder it was because they saw, from the Book of Daniel, the handwriting on the wall.

This sort of thing:

‘A leftward shift’: Communist party USA sees chance as progressives surge

In Chicago, an American party derided and feared for 100 years looked eagerly to a brighter future

.... the Communist party USA kicked off its 100th anniversary celebration, .....

The remarks, met with applause, came on the first day of CPUSA’s 31st national convention – and at a moment in American politics in which democratic socialism and progressive ideas are increasingly finding a home in the mainstream of the Democratic party.
Mainstream liberals would have found other elements of the convention less familiar. In a student center on the campus of University of Illinois Chicago, in a large hall past a Dunkin Donuts and a PNC bank, attendees invariably greeted one another as “comrade”. A few wore apparel bearing a hammer and sickle."
