Since the Trumpists have turned the GOP into an ultra-left Eurocentric party, the true right either does not exist or has gone underground.

But some believe that the Democrats have become partially Republicans. How true is this? Are there any political moves by the Democrats who continued Reagan's policies?


In particular, I heard that the current government still cares about antitrust institutions in the US.

It's impossible for right & left to switch positions.
The right is pro-individual freedoms while the left is about collectivism.
An individual or whole groups can switch their positions but that doesn't impact the ideological position of the sides.
Even if the entire left decided they were suddenly in favor of individual rights, it wouldn't mean the sides have changed, it just means opinions/beliefs have & they have abandoned the left.

The left could come out, denounce socilaism/communism & embrace fascism but they would still be lefties since it is all part of a collectivist philosophy

Trump is a collectivist, he denied individual responsibility and welcomed the collective slavery of corporations. He stated bluntly: I am not responsible for anything.
