Could a nation be overtaken by foreign nationals without arms? What action could/should a President take to prevent such a thing from happening?

I agree we want the same things.

I also agree we need to be focused and determined.

We need to play OUR GAME.

Not theirs.

They suck.

Well, after reading down the posts, I struggled to find any relevant points related to the thread question.

And how would a nation get to the point where its laws would become so toothless that such a thing could actually happen? Has such a thing ever happened? What if Russia took a different approach to taking Ukraine….what if they just sent 50 million unarmed Russians in who pretended they were just there looking for a better life while they slowly and passively took control of and or infiltrated the institutions and local governments?
If such a thing were to happen in the United States should our President be empowered to correct it?

The first way would be giving them welfare. A place to live, food and spending money. You could actually finance your own takeover.
