Why is Obama allowing blacks to destroy Maryland's capitol?
Article IV, Section 4: Obligations of the Federal Government and the President (the primary function of the federal government).
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a
Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions
A better question is, "why hasn't something been done to prevent members of law enforcement personnel from committing such acts as murder, rape, stealing, lying in court, covering for other dishonest cops, brutality, taking bribes from drug dealers and pimps, writing quota tickets, spousal abuse, child molestation, and other acts that they arrest ordinary citizens for?" Why do cops and other members of law enforcement get a free pass by the judicial system 99% of the time? Why aren't more cops arrested, tried, convicted, and sentenced for the same crimes that they arrest others for?
The people protesting should protest against the inhumane, uncivil, animalistic, and barbaric acts by members of law enforcement. We should all be protesting with them. The events made public just within the past year, warrant and merit protesting by ordinary citizens. That doesn't include the uncivil inhumane acts prior to this past year. The judicial system should work equally for ALL citizens, and not show favoritism to members of law enforcement.
Everyone wants to criticize those protesting, but no one wants to take a good close look at why they're protesting. The attention is on the burning of buildings and cars, the looting, the throwing of bricks and bottles, and the other property damage, but hardly any attention is given to WHY the protests are happening in the first place. If we were to be fair, we'd say, yes, the burning, looting, and property damage is wrong, terribly wrong. But, in the same breath we'd say that members of law enforcement instigated the events by their own acts, and are directly responsible for the results of their actions. Everyone wants to forget the death of Mr. Gray, and focus solely on the consequences and damage caused by the protest. Being fair would mean that we would say that the destruction and looting is very wrong, but the cops caused it by their actions. Lets place the blame where the blame belongs.
