Actually what she is doing is a mini microcosm of what will happen in the future. As an example. We have massive resources in government employees and private concerns servicing the poverty areas that pay very little in taxes. Those jobs will be downsized in salaries, benefits and pensions. And those now collecting will be affected also. She is operating a zero sum society playbook that progressive socialists believe in.

Ridiculous. I thought she was just a fool to be ridiculed. Now suddenly she is a harbinger of socialist doom ... which is it?

She is a wannabe revolutionary, and like all revolutionaries, she thinks rules don't apply to her, so she is also a scam artist.

That's not so much a rule as it is a basic principle of economics, supply and demand. When there are a lot of people who can do your job well, your salary will be low because of the competition for the job, and when there are few people who can do your job well, your salary will be higher because of the lack of competition. Ocasio-Cortez might not understand this since, despite the time she put in at college, her work history contains nothing but jobs as a waitress and bartender.
