You do realize there is a difference between the inside and the outside of the body don't you? Antiseptic chemicals and processes work by destroying living cells in the form of bacteria. Since your skin already has layers of dead cells on top this is not a problem. In the living tissues of the body antisepsis is destructive and potentially lethal.
