Cool County Dump Finds

While hauling off the trash awhile ago, I found this at my Township dump: A stainless steel survival still that distills and purifies water over a stove or camp fire. Looks like is hasn't been used much..

I've been trying to figure away to use a huge stainless pot I bought to take to a friend down in Florida that boiled SailCat heads.(we never got back down there)

Is that Aluminum around the outside top?

Is that Aluminum around the outside top?

I believe it is. The wavy part around the top pot is made of aluminum.
