I'm guessing you don't understand that the 3.2% number is on top of the cpi numbers that came before it?
It isn't. That's year over year from october of 2022.

When the cost of money is low the price of tangible items will increase. Which is also the cause of the so called income gap. Now you know. :)

That is a small part of it. When supply and demand are disrupted because of covid, more money chases fewer products.

By small part you mean to say the fundamental principle of inflation. But yes, covid exascerbated it.
