The Republican Party has been pro-civil rights since before it was cool to be pro-civil rights.

There are too many republicans, especially among the GOP leadership, who have had trouble returning to normal American traditional foreign policy after the end of the Cold War.

It is a problem that needs to addressed, seriously and honestly.
