But it was a Russian disinformation campaign.

The Russians had been diddling Guliani with tales of it for a while.

Then suddenly, a blind computer shop owner comes up with the real item.

Of course, he tampered with it, and copied the hard drive. He also looked at it.

Both of which violate both the law and any chain of custody.

And what did this blind computer store guy do with the information he stole off the laptop?

He didn't call the FBI or the police.

He called Rudy Guliani.
