I really doubt that Junior was stopped at that point. He either got a lot more out of the Russian lawyer than he is saying or he continued to dig for dirt.

He is testifying now and if he lies to congress, he will be in hot water. Comrade Sr will have to pardon him, which will add to Obstruction of Justice charges.
