Hello. Thanks to my dad, I grew up listening to Sam Cooke's voice and popular music.

While some folks want to compare Sam and Nipsey, there is one really huge difference between them...

Sam's music, as well as music composed by ALL of his talented musically gifted peers, convinced YOUNG ME that my black American neighbors are peaceful, loving, generous fellow citizens who love and respect women.

Sadly, Nipsey's violence riddled music vividly describing the people and community harming, anti-social behaviors he personally engaged in, or witnessed his apparent emotionally ill, SUIC!DAL, HOMIC!DAL thinking fellow gang members, friends or neighbors engaging in, would have not made my dad a Nipsey Hussle fan.

In fact, mom would have given dad an earful if he tried playing VIOLENCE riddled, FEMALE HATING music in our home.

My #LargerConcern, what perceptions do young kids embrace when listening to Nipsey's genre of hate and violence riddled music?
