Tens-of-thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of New York City Sunday to demand political leaders take action on climate change.
While the protest remained peaceful, much of the “People’s Climate March” appeared to be made up of fringe elements of the political left.

Dozens of signs denouncing capitalism were spotted at the demonstration, often held by self-proclaimed socialists.
“Capitalism is destroying the planet,” a sticker on one woman’s shirt read, “We need revolution, nothing less.”

In one instance, activists shouted “f**k the police,” demanding justice for the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.

Others took advantage of the demonstration’s liberal-leaning crowd, attempting to sell literature and t-shirts to them.

Putting aside participant Leonardo DiCaprio's penchant for private jets and several resource devouring mansions of his own to fly to and from, a funny thing happened on the way to today's big climate march in New York City. Participants used over 500 green house gas spewing buses to get there from all across the country.
Some of the comments in response to this Junk Science tweet are hilarious.

Progressive activists pushed Socialism at the opening of today’s People’s Climate March.
Leo DiCaprio joined the marchers today in New York City.

Socialism was praised and promoted to raucous applause by the hundreds in attendance at the People’s Climate March event on September 20, featuring organizer Bill McKibben, author Naomi Klein, socialist Seattle City Council member Kshama Sawant and socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
The event, held at the Unitarian Church of All Souls, was titled “THE CLIMATE CRISIS: WHICH WAY OUT.” The event was permeated with socialist literature with the Socialist Alternative newspaper prominently on display.
When Kshama Sawant, a socialist who won a seat on the Seattle City Council, noted she was the first socialist elected in decades, the church erupted in applause.
“A socialist world that will deliver a high standard of living for all,” Sawant said to applause.
Sawant ripped the current economic system: “The market is God, everything is being sacrificed on the altar of profits,” Sawant declared. “We must bring giant corporations into public ownership. You cannot control what you don’t own,” she added.

They went into mainstream universities, entertainment, and other American institutions in an attempt to legitimize themselves. These leftist swine metastasized over the years. One of the area they have entered as a legitimized and institutional opponent of democracy and capitalism is the Green movement. The young, mush-brained followers think they are saving the world. In reality they are pawns for a leftist political movement.

I tuned in to The Weather Channel this morning as always. They are admittedly leftist when it comes to environmental issues. They were covering the march in New York. One marcher was carrying a sign promoting "environmental justice". What is this? Suffice it to say that it means the industrialized world would be paying gobs and gobs of money to third world shit holes governed by dictators and monarchs with years and years of human rights abuses.

These asshole marchers look like a throw back to the 1960s. These are hairy, dirty people who you would not let into your home. They are radicalized, leftist propaganda spreading douche bags who apparently do not work and who are hell bent on the destruction of capitalism. And they are trying to shape policy. Scary, huh?

Fortunately, many of the most important countries are not attending this bullshit because they have better things to do. The media ought to be reporting this fact along with the fact that these demonstrators are seen by MANY around the world as controversial due to their political bent and backgrounds.
