Who calls Scandinavian policies "Socialism"? Only you Americans call it that. Have you never heard of Social-Democracy or do you think it's a fantasy?

Yes, but everybody pays for it, not just the rich or even just the top 50%. Everybody pays the VAT (consumption tax) when they buy stuff and everybody also pays income taxes, down to the poverty level.

All of those Scandinavian countries deny being socialist. All of them are capitalist economies, but they do have more robust socialist programs/policies that they pay for in much higher taxes. That's fine for them, but I doubt it'll work here cuz we got too many people to cover the costs of those same policies. And that include all the illegals we have. But hey, let's see the democrats run on raising taxes on everybody instead of just the wealthy. I think we all know that ain't gonna happen, they'll lie like hell and insist they can do all those wonderful things just by raising taxes on the wealthy with no consequences. Just like they did when they sold us on ObamaCare that would lower healthcare costs. Uhuh.
