You all realize this is his schtick right? It makes him "popular" or at least interesting. He is and always has been a wrestling cardio machine. His fights are rarely if ever entertaining, and his style likely doesnt get him a belt again. But all his nonsense gets him high value fights.

Sounds like a lot of people have a problem with MMA in general, how they don’t immediately stand them up. That’s part of the sport, wrestlers and ground-and-pounders aren’t pretty but they can be very effective.

A lot of fanfare was made over Colby Covington's entrance to his UFC last night wearing his Trump hat. He put on a less than impressive performance, decisively lost, and just like the man he idolizes, blamed everybody but himself.

Covington’s problem is he’s never cultivated any type of stand up game. No one fears his striking which makes it tough to take people down especially at the highest levels.

He's done.

Covington is a terrible striker. He is a grappler and uses the “wall and stall” to get decisions. Not terribly entertaining but it’s an effective strategy
