Colbert never bent the kneww

After what we went through with open borders and the insanity of Covid restrictions during the Biden administration, Lefties continue to illustrate their ignorance by confusing the term "tyrant".
There were no open borders, and saving millions of lives from a deadly virus is not tyranny, you stupid mf.

If this is true, then I'm not surprised it was cancelled. As for Colbert, lately he's just been an anti-Trump attack dog, and hasn't sustained my interest.

Puck News' Matt Belloni reported the late-night show "has been losing more than $40 million a year" for CBS and that it had a budget of "more than $100 million per season," contrasting it with network's daytime and primetime programming, which he noted were "still profitable."

Among late night hosts, “Gutfeld” averaged 3.289 million viewers for the second quarter and 238,000 in the demo.

Colbert’s “Late Show” came second with an average of 2.417 million across 41 first-run episodes.

Suffer you suckers.

Colbert never bent the knee to the tyrant.

Politics, Not Performance, Killed ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

Yes, the long reign of late-night has been coming to a slow end due to the internet, but don't be fooled: There's much more than money at the root of this show's demise

CBS is a disgrace. I will go out of my way to not watch them.

But damn...football season's right around the corner.

I am weak.

Colbert is about to get

PAID!
And that is the real problem. Trump is nowhere as bad as Progressive Socialist promote to them. And frankly, he is being the leader of the people. Except for the excessiveness. Colbert is one of a stable of Political shills posing as comedians. If you are bad mouthed every day and night people will agree. Wha happened is that Prog showed themselves to be not too good with many of their candidates. The worst part is that a Progressive socialist fraud will not live like they promote. That is a hypocrite. Hating on Capitalism while moving towards Communism and living the highlife from the best Capitalism can provide. Progressives on TV got real comfortable smearing whoever they wanted to on the Deplorable side. Trump is slowly changing that.

His ratings are tops.

CBS caved to dollars and Trump.

Pitiful.
This week, Stephen Colbert announced that CBS is canceling his late-night show, days after he spoke out against the network’s owner for settling a lawsuit with President Trump for $16 million — a lawsuit it would probably have won. The Colbert news was yet another dark moment for an American media company seemingly bowing and scraping to Mr. Trump, obeying in advance, hoping to make a deal. (For its part, CBS released a statement saying that the cancellation was “purely a financial decision.”)

Barry Diller explained the willingness to settle to Maureen Dowd as needing to “bend the knee if there’s a guillotine at your head.” Of course, the “guillotine” was maybe not being able to do the corporate deal you wanted — Paramount, CBS’s parent company, is in the midst of closing a merger with Skydance that requires approval from the Trump administration — which is not the same as having your head cut off. But maybe to a billionaire, not getting your money is the same as being decapitated. This is not the first time Paramount and its chairwoman, Shari Redstone, have been accused of going along to get along. A “60 Minutes” correspondent, Scott Pelley, noted the company’s desire “to supervise our content in new ways” as the reason for the resignation of Bill Owens, the show’s executive producer.

This is a story about cowardice, greed, and the exercise of power by an autocrat who will use any means at his disposal to silence critics. If such a thing is feasible I hope someone organizes a boycott of CBS. Shari Redstone needs to be shown there is a price to be paid for selling out to a would be dictator.

I get a chuckle what you Colbert-lovers say his firing was "politically-motivated." To that I say "tough shit." While government employees are protected against racial, sexual, and political discrimination, there are no rules against political discrimination in the private sector.

Sorry bout that,

1. To take a final dump on Colbert, he was a raging Libturd, and his form of schizophrenia, isnt popular with normal people.
2. So he is getting shown the gate.
3. Weird that he isnt cancellled right away, make a few laps CBS says, it may ened up being a costly mistake.
4. I watch him to see what kinda crazy he is delivering.
5. He is out there, CBS is reeling him in, by by Colbert, come next year.

Colbert needs to wear the 5-dollar green commie fatigues and live austere for his professed beliefs. He will never do that because he is a fraud. First in line in so called pure equality.

What is a kneww? One thing I have noticed a lot is that TDS'rs are oftren so blinded by their anti-Trump hatred they can't even take the time to realize they misspelled something in the thread title. Their furor is just so intense they have to get that thread posted without even taking the time to realize they fucked up. It makes them look like the fools that they are.

yeah, like he's not funny....All these late night "comedians" have is political attack, and name calling....You're not going to get ratings if you alienate half of the country.

I've never watched one second of the leftist clown

Colbert had the top ratings.

CBS caved into a very bad man.

And j-mac poopy pants is unhappy that Colbert is genius at what he does.
